Pierre Cardin eyewear for L'Officiel by Christophe Roue

Born in 1922, in Italy, Pierre Cardin, in primary school was fascinated with desiginig clothes and architecture. When he was 14 he started learning basics of designing, and 3 years later he moved to Vichy to start sewing suits for woman. During war he worked in Red Cross. After the war, he oved to Paris, he studied architecture there and worked for Madame Paquin's house. Before he become ward Christian Dior, he worked in many places. After 3 years working for Dior, he worked for Balenciagi.

In 1950 he settled his own fashion house, and 3 years later he started his adventure with haute couture setting Maison de Couture on Richepanse street. 4 years after opening fashion house, he opened butique "Eve" with clothes for woman. In 1957 he opened man's atelier "Adam" and he moved to Japan and there he become the best student of The Japanese Design College. His style is vanguard and made with geometric shapes.
