Born in 1963 the citizen of New
York City just in 34 years become being in the limelight. He became one of the directors of Luis Vuitton. How did he manage it? He was studying in High School
of Art and Design (NY), then in Parsons School of Design (NY). During his grade
in PSD he got a lot of awards. At the end of his studies he designed his first
collection - sweters made on the knits (!). After with his boyfriend Robert
Duffy opened fashion company, which is available today known as Jacobs Duffy
Inc.. Being 24 years old he became the youngest fashion designer who was
nominated to prestige award of The Council of Fahion Designers of America.
It
is characteristic for Jacob's style that he is not driven by the newest trends
- he is designing his collections upside down. When during summer 2004/2005
safari and jungle was fashionable, he decided to design woman dress, soft and
containing roses collection.
In november 2013 Jacobs left LV, to develop his
brand - Marc and Marc by Marc Jacobs. How was it? To the session he invited
Miley Cyrus (ex. Hannah Montana). Did this role suit to her? In my opinion her now
provocative style has a very good synergy with dark scenery.
